PROGRAMS AT THE ALPINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Alpine Public Library currently offers a homebound program for seniors and handicapped patrons, as well as a variety of children's programs throughout the year. Visit our News Blog to stay informed about all of the programs and events at the library.

HOMEBOUND PROGRAM

Friends of the Library volunteers provide an invaluable service to our community by delivering books, magazines, DVDs, Books-on-Tape and other materials to patrons who are unable to come to the library themselves. Today, four services come under the Homebound Program banner:
Our flagship Homebound Service for patrons with enduring disabilities;
Temporary Homebound Service
for those who for a variety of reasons are temporarily unable to come to the library;
our Big Bend Regional Medical Center (BBRMC) Periodical Service that keeps the waiting room periodical selection up-to-date;
and the Brewster County Jail Library Service that helps the jail staff maintain their inmate library.
Contact the library, 837-2621, for more information on these services.

PAJAMA STORYTIME

A bedtime story - A song - A rhyme - It’s Pajama Story Time!

Attention all children ages 6-10 years old:
Don your pajamas, grab your teddy bear and your mom or dad, and join us at the Alpine Public Library for an evening of fun! Come and enjoy puppet shows, stories, songs and crafts. The Anchor Club's first program was a huge success, with more than 70 participants! They hope to hold one each month -- check at the Library or the News Blog for dates, and be sure to wear your pajamas!
